Roehr Tool Streamlines Access to Expandable Cavity Technology

Roehr Tool Corporation has further improved the benefits customers can reap by utilizing the company’s Expandable Cavity technology.

Expandable Cavities reliably mold parts with undercut details such as threads, dimples, and protrusions. They eliminate the need for side-action mechanisms and the required extensive machining of components and mold bases.  In addition to simplifying new tooling design, Expandable Cavities reduce the size of the mold as well as the size of the press that is required.

Now users will find a more streamlined delivery and customer communications process in place that will help make ordering and receiving Expandable Cavities more efficient than ever.

“With today’s ever-shortening delivery timelines, we’ve taken steps to ensure that Roehr has systems in place that optimize the way we interact with our customers, enabling us to help them get tooling into production that much faster,” said Jim Cullison, Roehr Vice President.

INCOE, Beaumont Technologies Introduce
Opti-Flo™

Beaumont Technologies Inc. and INCOE® introduce the first hot runner utilizing BTI's patented MeltFlipper® melt rotation technology. INCOE® and BTI's Opti-Flo™ design, incorporated in select INCOE® manifolds, is the first scientifically designed hot runner system providing a homogeneous melt distribution and balanced filling to and across all cavities while avoiding invasive and restrictive mixers. The Opti-Flo™ system also replaces the common practice of creating melt temperature variations in the nozzles to balance cavity filling. The result is improved cavity to cavity consistency and product quality.
