RJG Lynx Mold Mount Piezo Adapter 

RJG recently introduced the Lynx Mold Mount Piezo Adapter. The Lynx Mold Mount Piezo Adapter can be used to interface the eDART System™ with all major manufacturers' piezoelectric sensors.  

By mounting to the mold, customers avoid the use of costly extension cables and reduce the opportunity for connector contamination (a major source of problems with piezoelectric sensors). The potential for mismatching cables is also greatly reduced. This product uses the same ruggedized mold mount construction as the Lynx Piezo Sensor Case, but provides the flexibility of the Lynx Piezo Adapter.

Husky Introduces Synchronized Valve Stem Hot Runner Technology  

Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. announced the introduction of synchronized valve stem technology for its Ultra 350, 500 and 750 hot runner nozzles.   

Synchronized valve stem technology provides tight access, clean room capable stem actuation and high quality gates. Plate actuation ensures that all valve stems open and close at exactly the same time, resulting in greater repeatability and the highest shot-to-shot consistency.  Combined with the Ultra 350 valve gate nozzle, the plate actuation allows for a minimum of 18 mm nozzle spacing, making this the ideal solution for the high precision molding of small parts. 

Husky developed a unique plate actuation mechanism that requires limited maintenance and eliminates wear by using bearings for the moving components. The entire actuation unit, including the stems, is easily accessible for any required maintenance. The servo drive unit is integrated into Husky’s Altanium controller, allowing for easy set-up of hot runner temperatures and servo motor, all from one screen.
