Raised Lettering for Consistent Part Thickness

Progressive Components has added Date Stamps with Raised Lettering to its extensive mold marking product line.

Raised Lettering on a Date Stamp results in a smooth, flat part surface. Due to this exclusive feature, and also because there is no height variation during plug rotation, the plastic part wall thickness remains consistent.

With this series of daters, year-end changeovers are easy, with the center plug removable from parting line and marked with the Progressive logo for easy identification of replacement parts. Also released is Progressive’s MultiDaters that require no yearly changeovers, and the LG Series with raised lettering for large structural foam molds and blow molds.

New Single Tip Generation HPS III-SXE, 230 V Externally Heated

EWIKON’s HPS III-SXE single tips with sealing near the gate offer the highest process safety for applications with demanding materials and narrow processing windows.

Due to the nozzle design with at least two separate control zones and ceramic elements for additional thermal insulation between pressure tube and nozzle body, a most homogeneous temperature profile is achieved. With a maximum processing temperature of 400°C HPS III-SXE single tips are suitable for a broad range of thermoplastics.

System Configuration of Hot Runners Via Internet Platform

Hot runner supplier GÜNTHER has acquired a commercial license of the POWER CONFIGURATOR by ACATEC Software GmbH. From now on, users will be able to use the software to configure individual hot runner systems via an Internet platform. 3D-CAD data incl. cut-outs (negative volume) and drawings are available for download for each individual system. This service is rounded off by providing the corresponding price offer.

After the configuration of an individual hot runner system, the user is able to select various data formats. The system designer CADHOC and the systems running in the background (Solid-Works, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) then generate the required data. Subsequently, all files are zipped and made available for download. A few minutes later, the user is notified by an e-mail containing a link to the product data of the hot runner system he has configured.
