A truly revolutionary advance-ment in surface temperature measurement, the Tempil Estik provides a quick digital readout of the actual surface temperature at the point of contact. And, unlike Infrared technology, it is not necessary to know what the emississitivy of the surface material is in order to obtain an accurate reading. Develop-ed by Tempil engineers for a wide range of critical temperature monitoring applications, the patent-pending Estik incorporates the latest in microthermocouple technology with a bold digital readout to instantly display the surface temperature with an accuracy of +/- 2% and works on either polished or non-polished surfaces. 

The Tempil Estik is quick and easy-to-use, and is available with a heavy-duty lanyard and nylon holster. Simply press the I/O button on the side of the barrel and touch the point to the work surface, and the temperature will be quickly displayed on the easy-to-read, back-lit digital display located on top of the unit. To make multiple measurements, simply press the reset button and move the contact point to another area, and the new temperature will be displayed.
 

PCS Introduces New NanoMoldCoating® 

NanoMoldCoating from PCS Company is a semi-permanent, two step, self applied, coating that is designed to reduce cycle times, rejects, and maintenance, while improving part quality in injection molding, blow molding, and rubber molding applications. The coating is created by forming a nanoscale barrier from nano formulated molecules. It is a non-toxic, non-migrating product that can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F.  The coating can facilitate a part release for up to, and in many cases exceeding, 300,000 cycles per coat, depending on the molded material, fillers, mold design, material flow rates and pressures. 

NanoMoldCoating can be used for virtually any molded material including heavy glass and mineral filled resins, rubber, and silicones and can be applied to any steel or aluminum substrate, as well as other materials such as beryllium, copper, etc.   NanoMoldCoating is designed to be resistant to most common cleaners and degreasers so molds can be cleaned without removing the coating.
