Touch Screen Hot Runner Controller from Orycon 

The Orycon model 357-e™ offers intuitive touch-screen operation, small footprint, manual override to each individual zone and fast set-up.  In addition, it is loaded with new features designed to improve productivity and simplify the task of controlling hot runner systems. 

All zone information is displayed on the full color touch screen, and any changes can be entered individually or globally. A selected zone can be displayed in “Zoom” mode in order to allow quick visual checks from a distance. 

The controller also continually refines the level of power used at each zone and keeps the resulting values in memory. In the event of thermocouple failure during a production run, the zone is switched automatically to the percentage of power in memory, keeping the cavity in production.  There are more new features beyond these.
